Als eine Folge der Externalisierung von Europas Außengrenzen werden tausende Menschen unter anderem im Norden Marokkos auf ihrem Weg Richtung Europa blockiert. Sie leben meist unter unerträglichen Bedingungen, während sie versuchen das Mittelmeer zu überqueren oder über die Zäune in die spanischen Exklaven Melilla oder Ceuta zu gelangen. Im Rahmen der europäischen Nachbarschaftspolitik bezahlt die EU Marokko, um die Grenze mit allen Mitteln zu schützen. Dabei billigt und verstärkt sie die ständigen Verletzungen jeglicher Rechte und die tödliche Gewalt mit der diejenigen konfrontiert werden, die versuchen, die Grenze zu überqueren.

No Borders Morocco ist ein loses Netzwerk von Aktivist_innen mit unterschiedlichen Hintergründen und ist in/zwischen Marokko und Europa organisiert. Wir wollen die Aufmerksamkeit darauf lenken, wie die EU Leiden, Gewalt und politische Repression um die spanisch-marokkanische Grenze verursacht und finanziert. Gleichzeitig unterstützen wir die vor Ort betroffenen Menschen in ihrem Kampf.
An diesem Abend wollen wir über die aktuelle Grenzpolitik und die Situation der Transitmigrant_innen in Marokko sprechen und mögliche Strategien mit euch diskutieren, wie gegen Grenzen vorgegangen werden kann.

The external european border and ways of fighting it

As a result of the externalization of Europe''s borders, thousands of migrants are stuck in northern Morocco and live in harsh conditions while trying to cross the Mediterranean or the border fences of the spanish exclaves Ceuta and Melilla. The EU pays Morocco as part of the European Neighbourhood Policy to protect Fortress Europe by all means, condoning and incrementing the vast violations of fundamental rights and the deadly violence this imposes on those seeking to cross.
No Borders Morocco is a loose network of activists with different backgrounds, based in/between Morocco and Europe. We want to draw attention to how the European Union causes and finances suffering, violence and political repression at its borders (Spain) and in its buffer zone (Morocco) and we try to directly support those affected.
We aim at organizing according to the principles of non- hierarchy, anti-racism, solidarity and diversity of actions.

On this event we want to inform about the current situation of migrants in Morocco in combination with EU border politics and discuss different strategies of attacking these borders with you.

L''Europe, ses frontières externes et les moyens de les combattre

En raison de l''externalisation des frontières de l''Europe, des milliers de migrants sont coincés dans le nord du Maroc et vivent dans des conditions difficiles, tout en essayant de traverser la Méditerranée ou passer les clôtures érigées le long de la frontière Espagnol dans les enclaves de Ceuta et Melilla. L''UE paye le Maroc dans le cadre de la politique européenne de voisinage afin de protéger la forteresse Europe par tous les moyens, bafouant tous les droits fondamentaux et utilisant des violences parfois mortelles sur les migrants qui cherchent à franchir ces frontières.

No Borders Maroc est un réseau d''activistes d''horizons différents, basés dans et entre le Maroc et l''Europe. Nous dénonçons la façon dont l''Europe financent ces politiques migratoires aux frontières entre l''Espagne et le Maroc et la manière avec laquelle ils argumentent ces souffrances, cette violence, cette répression utilisée contre les migrants à ses frontières (Espagne) et dans sa zone tampon (Maroc). Nous soutenons directement les personnes touchées par ces violences dans leur lutte.
Nous sommes organiser selon les principes de non-hiérarchie, anti-racisme, solidarité, diversités d''actions.

Lors de cet événement, nous voulons informer sur la situation actuelle et la lutte des migrants au Maroc, face aux politiques des frontières de l''UE et discuter des stratégies possibles pour détruire ces frontières.
